What is the soft washing process?
At Roof Care PDX we do not only excel at exterior cleaning, but at each of the services and steps necessary to deliver flawless results.
Step 1 – Preparation
The first step is moving any furniture to a safe location, and covering any bodies of water (ponds, pools, hot-tubs).
Step 2 – Roof & Gutters
If you select roof cleaning we first remove any large clumps of moss or build up using a brush on your roof.
Step 3 – Soft Wash
We apply an environmentally friendly roof soft wash detergent that softens and breaks up any build up. After the detergent had some time to soak we use our soft wash techniques to remove the moss, dirt and thoroughly rinse any dirt and detergent off of the roof.
Step 4 – Gutters & Downspouts
With the roof being cleaned we then clean out any debris from the gutters and all of the downspouts.
Step 5 – House Exterior Soft Wash
Once the roof and gutters are clean we apply an environmentally friendly detergent of the exterior of the home. After the detergent had some time to soak we use our soft wash techniques to thoroughly clean the walls of the home.
Step 6 – Final Clean Up
After the exterior of the house is cleaned we sweep, blow and collect any debris of the surrounding areas of the house.
Step 6 – Moss Inhibitor
After the the cleaning process is finished we apply moss/algae/mold inhibitor to your roof and home.
Step 7 – Final Inspection
Before we leave we do a final walk around making sure we did not over look any portion of the roof, gutters, house and surrounding area.
